STOP: IMAP or POP3?

At this point you need to decide whether you will use IMAP or POP3 to check your email.

IMAP stores all of your email on the server (also making it available via webmail), and allows you to categorise your messages into folders.
POP3 is generally used where you only have one computer as it is designed to download (and delete) your mail from the server.

If unsure, use IMAP as it offers enhanced functionality and an easy migration path to POP3 if required later.

5a) Server Information for IMAP

Enter your account settings as shown in the screenshot below, ensuring you choose "IMAP" as the server type.
The server name for both incoming and outgoing email MUST be "mail.keystroke-hosting.co.uk".
Click "Next".

Enter your account settings as shown in the screenshot below, ensuring you choose "POP" as the server type.
The server name for both incoming and outgoing email MUST be "mail.keystroke-hosting.co.uk".
If you already have another email account configured, or plan to use Thunderbird for more than one, uncheck the "Use Global Inbox" checkbox.
Click "Next".
