Coding Guidelines

About this page
We take great pride in the quality of our work and the fact that our projects conform to written standards promoting accessibility and usability.

This page provides information on some of those standards.

Accessibility

We always try to ensure that our work meets at least the basic level of the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, allowing hearing and visually impaired users to enjoy the same level of content as everyone else. By doing this your project will meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.

If accessibility is a high priority for your project, we will work with you to ensure the highest possible compliance.

Currently followed standards:

Markup

Generally speaking we prefer to work in XHTML, the XML-based generation of HTML, but we are happy to accommodate your needs.
No matter what HTML level we use, we always ensure the code we produce is 100% valid.

Currently followed standards:

PHP Security

We take security very seriously, especially when it comes to clients' websites which deal with sensitive/privilaged data.

All of our PHP code is written with security in mind, whether it's protection against XSS or SQL injection.

Style

All of our CSS work conforms to the specifications set out by the W3C.
